Environmental Stewardship
As a responsible manufacturer of plastic products, Dimex is sensitive to the environmental impact that petroleum-based products have on our planet. We are committed to sustainable and responsible manufacturing processes that help protect the environment. Each year we recycle tens of millions of pounds of plastic scrap that would otherwise be destined for landfills.
Dimex processes the plastic scrap to produce high-quality and cost-effective recycled flexible PVC and TPE compounds. We supply recycled compounds to other environmentally-friendly manufacturers and use the compounds in our own products to reduce our environmental footprint. Dimex is committed to exploring new ways that we can continue to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials used in the course of our business.

State-of-the-Art Capabilities
Since the beginning, Dimex’s foundation has been built on the belief that manufacturing the highest quality products requires state-of-the-art equipment and employing safe and efficient processes. That philosophy is carried through our 20+ production lines that are designed, implemented, and maintained by some of the most talented engineers in the business. With the diverse markets we serve, our engineering and manufacturing capabilities are well suited to handle a wide range of challenges including:
- Polymer Development
- Product and Packaging Development
- Manufacturing Process Controls
- Continuous Improvement

Product and Process Quality Control
Dimex is uniquely positioned as a major compounder of recycled plastics AND a manufacturer that uses recycled plastics in its own industry-leading commercial and retail finished products.
As a compounder, we excel at meeting the demands of recycling and operating an eco-friendly business. It starts with identifying post-industrial recyclable plastics feedstreams. With almost two decades of expertise in this field, our Technical Services Team qualifies materials based on cleanliness, ability to process, and fitness for the end product application. Materials are then incorporated into our proprietary blending and compounding processes to achieve the required physical and manufacturing specifications. Every lot undergoes thorough quality control processes so that we hit the mark every time.
As a manufacturer, we benefit from having our principal raw materials supplier under our own roof, which means our Technical Services, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance Teams regularly collaborate on necessary specifications to optimize our extrusion, calendaring, and finishing processes. All finished profile and sheeting products are regularly sampled and retained throughout the manufacturing process for rigorous testing of dimensions, weight, color, surface appearance, physical performance, and a variety of standard ASTM or Military Specifications, as necessary. Dimex also utilizes lot and serial tracking for all products, providing the ability to trace a finished or in-process product back to the original source of the compounded materials.
