EdgePro^® Dock Edging quickly became the “gold standard” of commercial dock edging (also called rub rail) due to the heaviness of the profiles and material color through the entire thickness of the profile.

Launch of Dimex Compounds Division, also known as Advanced Source Technologies, specializing in the procurement of recyclable materials. Dimex recycled flexible PVC and TPE compounds are used in the manufacturing of Dimex products and provided to other manufacturers to meet their own green initiatives.

Introduction of Industrial Runner Matting for OEM applications through industrial and specialty matting suppliers.  Starting with a few basic patterns, Dimex set itself apart from the competition with a completely new level of service, focusing on the highest quality product and quick turnaround on delivery.  Product options would expand significantly over the following years to include more patterns and highly technical switchboard and conductive products.

Introduction of EdgePro^® Paver Restraint to landscape/hardscape contractors, independent garden centers, stone yards, and building supply dealers. EdgePro^® Paver Restraint arrived just as the interlocking paver market began to experience explosive growth in the US, becoming a favorite with hardscape contractors due to its strength and durability.

 

Introduction of Dimex™ Control Joints to block manufacturers and independent building supply dealers for use in commercial building construction.  Early success with smaller building supply dealers grabbed the attention of larger block manufacturers and wholesale masonry products distributors, who would work with Dimex in future years to supply control joints to contractors under their own private brands.
